We kick off Crank It Up in the best possible style to with a cruise from Batemans Bay to Moruya, to show of these amazing machines and let the community be part of this event.
We follow the ‘Betta’ truck from under the bridge in Clyde St Batemans Bay from 11am, with a drive through town, along the coast, winding along the river to Moruya before stopping at the Waterfront Hotel for a feed and to catch up with mates.
There is not cost for the car cruise, but please register so we know numbers.
Saturday afternoon Town Rumble Cruise. Slow loops around Batemans Bay to finish up the Show n Shine.
Crank It Up will be a weekend of cruising and showing off those amazing classic cars, bikes, customs and rods. Whether you are a driver, a show’er or just someone who loves real automotive art, the Crank It Up event on 15,16 & 17 November is the place to be, to see those amazing machines … the pride and joy of those men and women who built them.
Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th – Tyre Torque Show n Shine …Yes we are closing the main street of Batemans Bay for 2 days to show off your amazing cars, bikes, customs and rods. Park up at the Crank It Up event site, catchup with old friends, enjoy the music and drinks, and let the rest of the coast appreciate your vehicle.
The Show n Shine Zones
Zone A – Vintage, Historic, Original – This section has the unmolested classic cars that everyone loves and generally in original condition or resto’d to original. Generally pre ’55 cars in this zone.
Zone B – Rock ‘n Roll era – This section has the mid ’50s cars through to mid 60’s. This is what CRANK IT UP is all about. This zone is positioned near our main stage to show off the cars of the retro rock n roll era. Think big tail fins, chrome, cool cars. Caddy’s, Thunderbirds, Bel-Airs etc
Zone C – Lil Niks HotRod Alley – Proudly supported by Lil Niks Mechanical in Batemans Bay, this zone is right in the heart of the event and has its own special feel. From hotrod T-buckets of the 30s, to dropped and dragging Mercury’s of the 50s and even Ratted trucks and cars.
Zone D – Classics, Muscle, American, Customs- Set near Stage 2 down under the bridge area, this zone was a huge hit last year and is the car lovers paradise with cars of all types with something for everyone to get into. Great vibe here and this is the zone where you’ll see everything from big american muscle to morris minors to exquisite airbrushed cars. A bit of everything.
Zone E – Overflow- This zone is just past zone D and will likely have a few clubs who want to bring cars together and will be overflow when other sections fill up and we run out of space.
Bump-in Times Bump in for event cars will be from 830am on Saturday and Sunday with all cars in place by 9.30 for event kick off.. Bump out will be from 3pm on Saturday and 1.30pm on Sunday. Follow Directions of volunteers at all times.
***Cars cannot move around after being parked. Due to high numbers of spectators, the cars must stay until bump out times. Do not enter if you cannot adhere to this***
HOW TO REGISTER
This event is open to ‘chrome bumper’ cars built pre 1978. We may except later ‘custom’ cars, however these need to be approved by the organisers before registration.
Entrants can submit their entry via checkout fields below. ***Please register 1 vehicle at a time ***
Show n Shine entry = $10 per vehicle
Preference will be given to cars who are showing on both days.
Ensure you can commit to showing for the full day… there are no vehicle movements during the day due to safety and insurance reasons. 3pm on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.

Entry is $10, to be paid at time of submission (bikes are $5). If there are issues with your submission and the organisers do not accept your vehicle, the funds will be refunded.
Special ‘Vehicle Entrant’ shirts will again be available for purchase. Due to confusion last year, we will send a separate message to entrants to purchase the shirts via our online shop.

Poker Run 2024
The Crank It Up Poker Run is a car based cruise, where participants will visit some key icons of the Eurobodalla area, and completing a poker card at 5 stops along the way.
The winner will be the person or team with the highest poker card score.
This Poker Run will commence at the Waterfront Hotel in Moruya (following the coastal cruise) and will finish in Batemans Bay prior to 5pm on Friday 15th November.
Pre-purchased Poker Run cards can be collected from the Waterfront Hotel in Moruya following the cruise. Participants can purchase as many Poker Run cards as they wish.

Prepare for an unforgettable night as the raspy, powerhouse vocals of the queen of rockabilly herself, Cherry Divine, fuse with the gritty riffs and grungy vocals of the cool lads from The Hellcat III, all coming together for the headline act at Crank It Up. Cherry Divine's voice, dripping with soul and passion, will merge with The Hellcat III's edgy guitar prowess, creating a sound that's both nostalgic and refreshingly cutting-edge.
SATURDAY 18TH - HEADLINE PERFORMANCE @ BAY SOLDIERS CLUB
Get ready to swing and sway to the rhythms as the amazing boogie keyboard skills of Ezra Lee blend seamlessly with the raw, danceable rockabilly guitar work of 'Kid' James. These two musical maestros are teaming up to deliver the headline act at Crank It Up's Saturday night gig, and it's bound to be a performance that ignites the stage. Everybody will be up dancing on this night.

An area dedicated to the hotrods of the 30’s -50’s era. These cool cars are loud, chromed, and just plain cool. They might be T Buckets, Street rods, Chopped roadster or Rat rods.. the headturners are in the Hotrod Alley.
This area is near the main stage and is focussed on those oh-so cool cars of the rock n roll era of the 50’s to early 60’s.
Think Chevy Bel Aire, Cadillac Coupe De Ville, Ford Thunderbirds, Pontiac Star Chief or Buick Roadmaster. The sort of cars that Elvis would’ve driven or Chuck Berry might cruise down Hollywood Boulevard.
These cars have shape, chrome, wings and whitewalls. Glamour and style to boot.
Early model vehicles which have been restored or remain in original condition. These cars bring back memories of an elegant era and are the true meaning of historic vehicles as they tell their stories of yesteryear.
This is a cool zone to hangout with all sorts of chrome bumper cars, classic bikes, old trucks, American muscle and those amazing customs which just draw the crowds.
Hang out with mates, under the bridge where we have the second stage playing music all weekend, car memorabilia displays, food and a dance floor.
This was the favourite of many visitors at last years Crank It Up Show n Shine.
