So you’re watching all the bands at Crank It Up and you can see the cool dancers ripping up the dance floor. Its not as hard as you might think it is.

Rockabilly is about attitude, style and just good old fun. This workshop is being run by two of Sydney’s favourite Rockabilly teachers Bruce Elder (Swing to it Sydney) and Melinda Jane – you wont find a more experienced rockabilly team!

Here is your chance to start your Rockabilly future.

This workshop is 1 hour and will teach you the basic elements of rockabilly to allow you to get on the dance floor and have some basic moves under your belt.

The workshop is being held upstairs at the Starfish Function Room at the southern end of the Crank It Up event site. Amazing room overlooking the water… but you’ll be too busy to enjoy the views!

This workshop is limited to 30 people:

• 15 Follows

Leads and Follows are not gender specific. Therefore if there are uneven numbers of leads and follows, you can swap teams to even up the numbers.
