WHAT TO BRING
Crank It Up is a festival celebrating retro and vintage culture. Here’s some key things to bring to the event:
- Your best rockabilly style – Pompadours, polka dots, denim, leather—dress the part and join the vibe.
- Cash & card – For food, drinks, merch, and market stalls.
- Sun protection – Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen—Batemans Bay sunshine can bite.
- A chair or picnic rug – Kick back and enjoy the music in comfort.
- Reusable water bottle – Stay hydrated throughout the day.
- Camera or phone – for hotrods, outfits, and memories
- Light jacket – it can cool down in the evening
- Ear protection for kids – those engines and bands can get loud
- Good vibes & dancing shoes – You will want to hit the dance floor.
- Friends (and make new ones)

What the Car Entrants need to bring
- Your pride and joy – Whether it’s a hotrod, classic, custom, or cruiser—bring it clean and ready to shine.
- Entry confirmation / registration details – Have it handy for smooth check-in.
- Cleaning kit – Microfibre cloth, detail spray, tyre shine—because dust happens.
- Display gear – Chairs, small table, shade, and anything to make your setup look the part.
- Info board (if you’ve got one) – Specs, story, or build details—people love a good yarn about your ride.
- Battery isolator / basic tools – Just in case—old cars like to keep things interesting.
- Fire extinguisher – Always a smart (and often required) addition.
- Cash & card – Food, drinks, and all the cool stuff you’ll convince yourself you need.

WHAT TO BRING
- Your best moves – Whether it’s jive, bop, swing, or freestyle—bring the energy and don’t hold back.
- Your sharpest outfit – Rockabilly, vintage, pin-up, greaser—dress to impress and turn heads.
- Comfortable dancing shoes – Style matters, but so do your feet after a few hours on the floor.
- Backup outfit (optional, but smart) – In case of spills, sweat, or a quick style change during the day.
- Hair & makeup touch-up kit – Pomade, hairspray, lipstick—keep those looks competition-ready.
- Water bottle – Stay hydrated—you’ll earn it.
- Towel or change of shirt – things can heat up fast
- Dance partner (or find one there) – everything’s better with a swinging partner
