JUDGING RULES FOR 2026
We took on feedback from last year’s event and we have changed the voting and judging of the Show n Shine.
All Categories – will be voted by the Show n Shine entrants. Yes thats right… those that are part of the event will vote for category winners.
Overall Crank It Up show winner. The overall winner will be voted by public votes (including show entrant votes) However, this winner must be part of the original theme of Crank It Up and must be pre 1978 vehicle to win the overall car of show.
Every car, bike, rod at the show has the chance to win their category.
Winners must be present at the awards presentation to accept the award. If not present, the award will go to the next winner who is present at the event.

How does the Show n Shine work?
Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd Nov – Tyre Torque Show n Shine …Yes we are closing the main street of Batemans Bay for 2 days to show off your amazing cars, bikes, customs and rods. Park up at the Crank It Up event site, catchup with old friends, enjoy the music and drinks, and let the rest of the coast appreciate your vehicle.
The Show n Shine Zones
Zone A – Vintage, Historic, Original – This section has the unmolested classic cars that everyone loves and generally in original condition or resto’d to original. Generally pre ’50 cars in this zone.
Zone B – Rock ‘n Roll era – This section has the ’50s era cars. This is what CRANK IT UP is all about. This zone is positioned near our main stage to show off the cars of the retro rock n roll era. Think big tail fins, chrome, cool cars. Caddy’s, Thunderbirds, Bel-Airs etc
Zone C – HotRod Alley – This zone is right in the heart of the event and has its own special feel. From hotrod T-buckets of the 30s, to dropped and dragging Mercury’s of the 50s and even Ratted trucks and cars.
Zone D – Classics, Muscle, American, Customs- Set near Stage 2 down under the bridge area, this zone was a huge hit last year and is the car lovers paradise with cars of all types with something for everyone to get into. Great vibe here and this is the zone where you’ll see everything from big american muscle to morris minors to exquisite airbrushed cars. A bit of everything.
Zone E – Overflow- This zone is just past zone D and will likely have a few clubs who want to bring cars together and will be overflow when other sections fill up and we run out of space.
Bump-in Times Bump in for event cars will be from 8.00am on Saturday and Sunday with all cars in place by 9.30 for event kick off.. Bump out will be from 3pm on Saturday and 1.30pm on Sunday. Follow Directions of volunteers at all times.
***Cars cannot move around after being parked. Due to high numbers of spectators, the cars must stay until bump out times. Do not enter if you cannot adhere to this***
Show n Shine Cruise Registration 2026
HOW TO REGISTER
This event is open to ‘chrome bumper’ cars built pre 1978… or cars which are ‘head turners’ and will interest the public and the show n shine car fraternity, however these need to be approved by the organisers before registration.
Entrants can submit their entry via checkout fields below. ***Please register 1 vehicle at a time ***
Show n Shine entry = $10 per vehicle
- If you are only doing the Friday Cruise, add to cart, then checkout (Friday is Free)
- Please fill out all sections of the entry including uploading images of your vehicle.
- Feel free to comment to the organisers if there is special information.
Preference will be given to cars who are showing on both days.
Ensure you can commit to showing for the full day… there are no vehicle movements during the day due to safety and insurance reasons. 3pm on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.

Please complete all information including vehicle registration number and make/model.
Entry is $10, to be paid at time of submission. If there are issues with your submission and the organisers do not accept your vehicle, the funds will be refunded.
Special ‘Vehicle Entrant’ shirts will again be available for purchase during checkout whilst you enter your vehicle. These are not available to the general public so this is the only time to order the shirts.
